Each year, the Chisholm Trail 100 Club proudly recognizes exemplary service among our First Responders across Johnson County and the surrounding areas.
Nominations may be made for exceptional achievement in any law enforcement, firefighting, dispatching, or emergency medical endeavor, including, but not limited to, extraordinary valor, crime prevention, investigative activity, community relations, juvenile programs, drug prevention and control programs, training programs, traffic safety, and innovative approaches to police or firefighting services and distinguished 20+ year service. Also, there is a specific recognition for a group of individuals who perform technique(s) on a full arrest patient/victim who was successfully resuscitated and returned home alive. All First Responders covered by the Chisholm Trail 100 Club* are eligible to be nominated for these awards. Submitted nominations are then reviewed by the Chisholm Trail 100 Club's Awards Committee.
The “Lifetime Achievement Award” this award acknowledges responders who have completed 20 years or more of distinguished service and who have made a positive impact in their community. Nominations must include department and community testimonials, commendations, and relevant media articles. The award includes recognition and a commemorative gift.
The “Clifton Taylor Chisholm Trail 100 Award” acknowledges an individual first responder for outstanding bravery and/or extraordinary actions performed in the line of duty. Nominations may include department and community testimonials, commendations, and relevant media articles. The award includes recognition and a cash award.
The “Lifesaver Award” acknowledges individuals who unquestionably save the life of another person by taking direct, immediate, and positive action to preserve the life of another person who was in real and imminent danger of dying. Evidence indicates that the action of the individual was the lifesaving act itself, or the action prolonged a human life.
The “Lifetime Achievement” and “Clifton Taylor Chisholm Trail 100” Awards will be presented at the Chisholm Trail 100 Club Annual Meeting each year in August. The Lifesaver Award may be presented throughout the year as the Chisholm Trail 100 Club is notified of such instance(s) via submission of a nomination form for the respective award category.
